How to block imo contacts in Android Phone ?

- Steps to delete a contact in imo 1. Open imo app: Tap on the imo icon shown on the menu.
The only way to permanently delete them is to overwrite the original data. You are unable to make it manually, but there are some other choices to make it. You can consider data eraser to make it. The following simple steps show you how to block imo contact on your Android based Phone or tablet.
1. Open the imo application on your Android mobile or tablet.
2. Tap on the tab named Chats situated in the top menu on your mobile screen.
Note: You can also tap on Contacts Tab and locate the Contact that you want to block
3. On the Chats screen, tap on the Chat of the person that you want to block on imo
4. Once the Chat opens up, tap on the Contact’s Name situated near the top left corner of your screen.
5. On the next screen, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the Block option.
6. Tap on Yes to confirm on the pop-up that appears, that you do want to block this Contact on imo.
This person will now be added to the blocked people list on your imo account.
How to Block imo Contact on iPhone ?
The procedure to block Contacts on imo on iPhones and iPads is a bit different compared to blocking Contacts on Android devices.
1. Open imo on your iPhone or iPad
2. Once you are in imo, tap on the tab named Chats situated at the bottom left corner of your screen
Note: You can also tap on Tab named contacts and locate the Contact that you want to block
3. On the Chats screen, tap at the Chat of the contacts that you want to block on imo
4. Tap at the Contact’s Name placed near the top left corner once the Chat opens up.
5. Scroll down on the next screen to the bottom and tap on the Delete option.
6. On the pop-up that looks, Tap on Yes to confirm that you do need to block this Contact on imo
7. On the following display, scroll down to the lowest and tap on the Block option .
This person will now be added to the blocked contact listing on your imo account.
What Happens When You Block Someone on imo
While it is easy to block contacts on imo, you want to know exactly what happens when you block someone on imo.
1. Blocked Contact may be capable of text you. However, textual content messages from this blocked Contact will not be delivered to your mobile and you may not be able to see his/her text messages.
2. Blocked Contact will now not have the ability to call you. Whenever blocked Contacts attempt to call you, they’ll get an errors message showing that you aren’t logged into imo.
3. Blocked Contact will not show on the Contacts or Chats display screen.
4. Similarly, you will no longer be capable of Call or send a text Message to the blocked Contact.
5. The People which you have blocked on imo will now not be notified about the block. However, they are probably able to guess which you ought to have blocked them by noticing which you are always unable whilst they are trying to message or call you.
